An Amazing God - Day 5

"Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing." Psalm 145:16

Remember that what God does is based on who God is. God is good, perfectly good, so everything He does is not only good, but perfectly good. Genesis 1:21 says, “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good." God pronounced the life He created on day five, “good”. The quality of His work is never lacking. Each of the living creatures were created to function exactly how God intended. By God’s great unsurpassed wisdom, He created all things with a purpose. God is never arbitrary or random. So, according to Genesis 1:21, each and every creature could only reproduce “after its kind”, showing again the orderliness of God. God created DNA, and He programmed these creatures, and their DNA, so can only reproduce according to their own “kind”. Yes, there can be a wide variety and variations within each of the “kinds”, but reproduction can only happen within their kind. Evolution from one “kind” to another is a false religion. It is impossible. What once was thought of as a simple life form, a single bacteria cell, is now known to be incredibly complex. Each cell is made up of well over a billion atoms. These one-cell factories are more complicated than anything man can build.

God is the master designer who is far superior to anything He has created. Has any person ever created a living thing? We can certainly take life, but can never return it. Only God can create life and living creatures. Only God could design such complexities with order so they function together to give the impression of simplicity. There is so much to learn about His creation, we will live out the ages learning new things. Better than that, we will grow in our love relationship with God for eternity and never get bored! For there will always be something new to know about Him. What an awesome God He is. Genesis 1:22-23 says, "And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day." God blessed His creation and gave them a command to reproduce and fill and spread out all over their given habitat.

“Thank you, Father, for creating such variety for my amazement. And I think that I will ever be amazed growing in love with you forever. Amen.”
